My step-mother of 2 yrs wore a two piece white dress to my wedding. Was I wrong to angry with her?

I specifically asked her to wear a black dress since the colors are black and white. She was going to be singing a song and I wanted her to match the wedding party. She showed up in bright white, so my aunt sacrificed her black jacket and asked her to wear it. My stepmother then told my aunt that I needed chill pill. I totally freaked out when I heard what she was wearing. My dad later told me that she wore white to my wedding because apparently I wore a white dress to hers, which I didn't. It was gold. Please tell me I'm not wrong for getting upset.
