What is wrong with the westboro Baptist church?

If you didn't know they decided to come and protest here in west virginia were the coal mining disaster happened with signs saying god hates mines, and thank god for dead miners you know the usual junk. But how can these people call themselves christian? I'm a christian and nowhere in the bible does it say anything about miners! One of them who got here early had one of those thank god for dead miner signs and got his ed by a coal miner and I hope the same or worse happens to the rest!
