Is Yahoo Answers part of a Fundamentalist Religious agenda?

It is obvious that there are users who patrol Yahoo Answers for the purpose of censoring out people who post specific content (e.g. counter-phobic and atheistic questions/answers). According to community guidelines this kind of behavior is a violation. The other side of this is that Yahoo Answers seems to be doing nothing to stop this behavior and targeting these kinds of postings as well. This makes me wonder what kind of people are running Yahoo or Yahoo Answers. I'm not talking about some mive religious conspiracy but the likelihood that Yahoo Answers is turning a blind eye to religiously motivated discrimination and harment and participating in it as well. Would other users who have had similar problems with this site please share your thoughts?
