Expunging an underage drinking charge?

A while ago I got arrested in a club for underage drinking. I went to court, paid my fine and it was over. Now I am fixing to apply to a university (march 1) and I just remembered it! I seriously hadn't even thought about it and the possibility of it affecting getting into college. They said I can get it expunged please someone familiarize me with the process! I know I have to send in some application of eligibility and it takes 30 days to process but then what? Oh yeah and I am in the state of Florida. I appreciate yalls help...please no sarcastic comments/ or IDK's thanks.
