Can anyone recommend a good book for me to read?

AVOID TWILIGHT. ok, edith wharton is amazing. really good read. start with age of innocence. it's not like jane austen but there is a certain similarities, lot of social satire and that sort of thing. also, Nietzsche if you want something philosophical. definitely read hitchhikers guide to the galaxy...amazing.
